Hogy mire számíthat a böngészés során, már sejtheti a szemlélő, ha figyelmesen olvassa össze a gyűjtemény arcát jelentő képjelnek az egyes elemeit. Ez a képjel a kínai írás ábrázolásmódját, elemeit használja: a piktogram első jele a bal felső sarokban önmagában is eredeti, az embert jelentő kínai írásjel, csakúgy, mint a középső szimbólum, amely a zenei dallam, szerzemény értelmét hordozza. Kapcsolatba hozva ezt a képjelet a marimbával, akár egy hanglapsor is lehet felülről nézve, alatta a függőleges vonalak a rezonátor csövek - ezeket szemből láthatjuk (a perspektíva tökéletessége a kínai írásban sem bírt fontossággal…). A teljes kép tehát, kis fantáziával, egy négy verővel játszó marimba játékost ábrázol.
